MinDiagnostics™ develops and manufactures high quality, point of care rapid diagnostic tests, for the detection of human, as well as, animal diseases that plague the African continent. The Unit develops lateral flow assays, SERS based assays and molecular based assays.
MinDiagnostics™ has a world class ISO 5, fully automated, clean room facility, for the large scale production of lateral flow tests, with a production capacity of 20 million tests per annum. The lateral flow tests focus on the detection of antibodies / antigens in the test sample (sera, blood, saliva, urine) using biomarker functionalized gold nanoparticles.
MinDiagnostics™ offers contract manufacturing, contract R&D of lateral flow devices, reagent spraying and dispensing, lamination and contract lateral flow cassette assembly.
It also offers a stage-by-stage lateral flow device manufacturing pro-cess. The services are flexible and based on the client's needs; as full pro-duction, or partial lateral flow processing is offered, from reagent spraying, to vial dispensing to final packaging.
